Project Overview
In June 2023, Livi Machinery delivered a complete set of A-Type 4-Tier Layer Cages to a poultry farm in Togo, supporting the client in building a practical egg production system for over 10,000 laying hens. The equipment was installed in a well-ventilated, open-sided shed with semi-automated manure and feeding solutions.
Project Details
To meet the client’s production goal and site dimensions, Livi provided a system based on two cage rows in a compact structure:
- Cage Model: A-Type, 4-tier, 5-door
- Cage Dimensions: 1950mm × 450mm × 410mm
- Birds per cage set: 160 layers
- Chicken Shed Size: 70m × 8m × 3.5m
- Layout: 2 rows × 32 sets = 64 sets total
- Total Capacity: 10,240 laying hens
This layout offered balanced airflow and efficient cage access, optimized for local climate and daily management.
Equipment Supplied
To ensure daily operations were labor-efficient, Livi supplied:
- ✅ 64 sets of A-Type 4-Tier Layer Cages (hot-dip galvanized)
- ✅ Nipple drinking system with water tanks
- ✅ Scraper-type manure cleaning system (1 set for both rows)
- ✅ Gantry-type automatic feeding machine (1 set for the shed)
This system helped the farmer reduce labor while maintaining hygiene and consistent feeding, critical for productivity and bird health.
