In March 2023, Livi Machinery successfully completed the installation of an A-Type 4-Tier Chicken Cages for Layers system at a large-scale poultry farm in Nigeria. This fully automated layer farm was designed to accommodate approximately 30,720 laying hens, leveraging advanced cage technology to maximize production efficiency and bird welfare within a modern enclosed poultry house.
Client Requirements and Solutions
The client required a high-density, automated layer cage system capable of supporting a large flock in a confined space while ensuring optimal ventilation and environmental control. Farm Layout and Cage Configuration
The poultry house measures 100 meters in length and 15 meters in width, featuring a 4-column layout. Each column is equipped with 48 cage groups, totaling 192 groups of cages. Each group accommodates 160 layers, resulting in a total capacity of 30,720 birds. The fully enclosed design ensures controlled environmental conditions, enhancing flock health and productivity.
