In October 2022, Livi Machinery successfully supplied a set of A-Type 4-Tier Layer Cages to a poultry farm project in Mozambique, designed to accommodate over 10,000 laying hens. The system was installed in a compact two-row shed, equipped with a scraper-type manure removal system to simplify daily management and maintain cleanliness.
Project Details
The client planned to raise laying hens in an open-sided chicken shed with a focus on efficient space use and practical manure cleaning. Livi’s team proposed the following setup:
- Cage model: A-Type 4-Tier Layer Cages
- Cage dimensions: 195 × 45 × 41 cm
- Chicken shed size: 68m × 8m × 3m
- Layout: 2 rows × 32 sets = 64 sets total
- Total capacity: 160 birds × 64 sets = 10,240 laying hens
This design meets the farm’s egg production needs while allowing convenient access for cleaning and bird management.

- ✅ Nipple drinking system with water tanks
