A-Type 4-Tier Layer Cages for 10,240 Chickens Poultry Farm in Nigeria

Project Overview

In March 2023, Livi Machinery delivered a complete set of A-Type 4-Tier Layer Cages to a poultry farm in Nigeria, helping the client successfully establish a 10,240-layer capacity egg production system. The project featured an efficient shed layout with semi-automated feeding and manure removal systems to meet the client’s need for cost-effective, hands-on management.

Project Details

The client aimed to start a mid-sized layer poultry house with practical equipment that balances investment and labor efficiency. Livi designed a solution based on the following shed structure:

  • Cage model: A-Type 4-Tier Layer Cages
  • Cage size: 195 × 45 × 41 cm
  • Chicken shed size: 68m × 8m × 3m
  • Layout: 2 rows × 32 sets = 64 sets in total
  • Total capacity: 160 birds × 64 sets = 10,240 laying hens

The open-sided design supports natural ventilation, making it well-suited to the Nigerian climate.

Livi Machinery provided the following poultry equipment:

  • 64 sets of A-Type 4-Tier Layer Cages
