In October 2023, Livi Machinery provided a complete set of A-Type Chicken Cages for Layers to a commercial poultry farm in Burkina Faso. The project was built to house 20,160 laying hens in a well-ventilated, naturally lit poultry shed. This farm adopted a high-density cage layout with manual egg collection and semi-automated feeding and manure systems to meet daily production needs.
Client Needs and Custom Design
The client sought a cage system that could:

Livi Machinery supplied 126 sets of A-Type Chicken Cages for Layers, arranged in 3 rows, with 42 sets per row. Each cage unit held 160 birds, totaling a capacity of 20,160 layers.
