In June 2022, Livi Machinery provided a cost-effective and durable A-Type Layer Chicken Cages solution for a small-to-medium scale poultry farm in Ghana. The farm was designed to house 5,120 laying hens using a manual management model inside an open-sided chicken house, focusing on maximizing space efficiency and simplifying daily operations.
Client Requirements and Our Solution
The Ghanaian client sought:
- A reliable and long-lasting layer cage system suitable for manual operation
- A setup that would fit inside a naturally ventilated open poultry house

To meet these goals, Livi Machinery supplied 40 groups of A-Type Layer Chicken Cages, each with 4 tiers and a capacity of 128 birds per group. The cages were laid out in 2 rows of 20 groups per row, making optimal use of the 44m × 8m chicken house footprint.
